OOM: Dinner
Ramon is so glad to get out of the museum because there's only so much culture a man can take, especially when you can't draw attention by exhibiting 'inappropriate' behaviour. Dinner's booked at an upmarket resturant a couple of miles away and he's quiet for most of the ride over. Just takes Random's hand in the back of the darkened limo and watches the city go by.

Eventually;
"I think I miss going out like this."
no subject
'Out in general? Or out in style?'
no subject
He takes a sip of his drink.
"It's wonderful. You're stunning when you're making people do what you want. I never have the heart to."
no subject
People have always done what he wants.
'Just make it sound like there'll be consequences if they don't do as they're told.'
There always are.
'And I know very well that you can make anyone do anything, if you want it enough.'
no subject
It's more fun to watch Ramon do it.
"It's nice seeing them bend backwards for you. Half of them are hoping you'll take them to bed and give them diamonds. The other half of them think I must be your rent boy. I like it."
no subject
Beat.
He means his wallet. Kind of. Sort of.
'I like it too. It gives them a certain idea of me. They're not wrong either.' He amends that after a second. 'Well, weren't wrong before.'
no subject
One hand slips down, as they pull up in front of the restaurant, to give the bulge a light squeeze.
Not the wallet.
"And there are worse people to be a rent boy for."
no subject
Not that he minds. There are worse people to be groped by. Anyone else, in fact.
'Damn right though - I give you the good life. And good other things. Now lets go eat so that I can take you dancing. And then just take you.'
He's smirking as he exits the car. Naturally.
no subject
He says it quietly, and with an utterly straight face.
Before rushing up the steps to the restaurant. Wouldn't do to be late for the reservations.
no subject
For now he just follows, catches up to Random and then gives his name to the maitre'd. They're taken to one of the best tables, naturally. Ramon doesn't do bad tables.
'You're going to pay for that later,' he says calmly, as the wine waiter bustles up with his menu.
no subject
Mmmm. He'll look forwards to it. But just now, he takes a sip of water, already poured.
"Order us something nice?"
no subject
Sounds even better. Ramon flips open yet another menu for the first course and stares at it.
'I don't know how much of this stuff you like. You like oysters or caviar or pate or any of that? I don't know.'
So not a food person. He eats in places like this because it fits the image.
no subject
He turns instead to examining the room, the patrons around them. It's classy. Nice. The two of them aren't getting looks, even though they're black tie.
no subject
The wiater appears as soon as he puts the menu down. The special is ordered without asking what it is and wine is smoothly brought over. Ramon spends his time watching Random examine the room.
'Anything interesting?'
no subject
He glances at Ramon with a quick smile, then back across the room.
"The specials are usually best. They get a chance to liven things up a little. Might actually care a little more. I always go for the specials here. Oh, look at that girl. She's set her sights on you, baby."
no subject
He hadn't known that before. He looks at him, hen turns to find this girl.
'Where? Is she hot?'
no subject
He takes a sip of water.
"She's over near the other window. Sparkly red dress. Big breasts."
no subject
Oooh. Even better. He turns around without shame, finding her and openly looking her over. She doesn't seem to mind. He smiles in a yes I'm interested kind of way, then turns back to Random.
'She's a dog. You cut a nice figure in anything. And nothing. You having some wine?'
no subject
He looks at Ramon's hands.
"What'll happen if she comes over?"
no subject
'It's fine.'
The waiter nods and fills two glasses, then leaves them to it. Ramon picks his up and looks at Random.
'I don't know. What would you like to happen? She could have a drink with us.'
no subject
"Please, no."
no subject
He just looks at him with dark eyes and says evenly,
'As you like.'
no subject
He's panicking quietly, and hiding it well.
"Pour me some wine?"
no subject
'You alright?'
He knows he's not. And he doesn't want to be mean, but Random pointed out the woman to him - he's not considering doing a thing with her, even if she were to come over. But that Random would think he might, after the conversation they just had in the museum - it annoys him.
no subject
He takes a sip of wine, rather larger than he usually would.
"I'm just getting lost in my own head. Tell me something nice?"
