It had been very late when they'd got in the night before, and fatigue from travelling had messed them both up to the point where they didn't even look around the place when they arrived. There had been quick showers and then they'd just fallen into the large bed in the master bedroom, wrapped themselves round each other and passed out.

It's late morning now though and its hot, because they hadn't turned the air conditioning on last night and sun is blazing through the uncovered windows. An Australian summer knows how to bring the heat.

There's a shift and a sleepy grumble from Ramon, but he doesn't wake just yet. Random? Well, who knows with him...

He kisses him back happily. Random, weapons, money, vacation...life gets no better. 'OK then. Makes no difference to me either way.' He snickers though. 'You don't like macho, Random? Why does that not surprise me?'

He's kidding. He's well aware of how tough the man is. But...soft as well. It's a combination designed to kill him, Ramon knows.

"I can be macho." He makes a face. Then elegantly picks Ramon up around his waist, lifts him, then sets him down.

"See? Manly. Now lets go collapse and nap, then go driving, kay?"

Ramon laughs and swats him over the head before he's put down. 'Being strong doesn't make you manly Random, but I don't care.' He kisses him softly. 'Pinning me to a tree was manly.' He pretends to think, and smirks widely. 'Actually, that was hot, you should do that again some time. Just for fun though.'

Not as a reapeat of the circumstances. But he's enjoying the fact that he can joke about it at all now, even though he knows it's not really a laughing matter.

Random's not entirely as sure. Because he still has nightmares about it and the look in Ramon's eyes they haven't really talked about that.

But before Ramon can tell, he's wrapping arms around his shoulders, and pressing a laughing kiss to his jaw.

"Lets go rest. I'm too tired for heavy lifting."

He doesn't notice a thing. He does utter an indignant 'Hey! I'm hardly heavy anymore...' before sliding arms round his waist and holding him against his body. Then he kisses him again, with a tiny smirk of satsfaction, and starts walking him backwards towards the stairs.

'Rest? Well, maybe. Afterwards for sure...'
