It had been very late when they'd got in the night before, and fatigue from travelling had messed them both up to the point where they didn't even look around the place when they arrived. There had been quick showers and then they'd just fallen into the large bed in the master bedroom, wrapped themselves round each other and passed out.
It's late morning now though and its hot, because they hadn't turned the air conditioning on last night and sun is blazing through the uncovered windows. An Australian summer knows how to bring the heat.
There's a shift and a sleepy grumble from Ramon, but he doesn't wake just yet. Random? Well, who knows with him...

He grins and walks over, flips a catch and lifts them. He's got hidden places in all his houses, and they're common enough anyway - people keeping their wine cellars out of view, or having secure places for their valuables. He heads down the stairs and laughs out loud - there's a bar and a snooker table, a huge sound system, more seats...people obviously come here to party at times. He approves.

He tips into an armchair, peering over the edge and down the staircase.
"This whole place is just cool."
Good spot for a vacation. Especially just the two of them.

'Random! Come give me a hand.'

He comes down the staircase in a rush of limbs, feet actually connecting with perhaps three of the steps.
"What's up... with the bottom of the snooker table? Ramon? What're you doing?"

A hand sticks out and it's holding two guns. 'Take those?' Then there's clattering as more are pulled out and hit the tiles, as well as a few knives, a rifle and a heap of ammo. And...fuck!
He crawls out from underneath the table holding a bag in his hand. It's got a note attatched to it that just says 'Welcome home' - he knows what's in it without having to open it. A full kilo - generous of him to say the least. He looks up at Random and shakes his head. 'It'll be coke but I'm not taking any, dont worry.'

He clucks his tongue at him, but he's smiling, because those wounds are healed. And he's holding a gun. Two, even.
"These are nice. May I shoot something? Targets, I mean?"

He aims, doesn't pull the trigger, because it'd be pointless, aims again.
"I say we set up tin cans on the fence. Then you know what you're after. Or do you get fruit trees in Australia?"

He pulls Ramon to his feet, and kisses him.
"This way, it's more of a game, less of a macho thing. I prefer it."

He's kidding. He's well aware of how tough the man is. But...soft as well. It's a combination designed to kill him, Ramon knows.

"See? Manly. Now lets go collapse and nap, then go driving, kay?"
no subject
Not as a reapeat of the circumstances. But he's enjoying the fact that he can joke about it at all now, even though he knows it's not really a laughing matter.

But before Ramon can tell, he's wrapping arms around his shoulders, and pressing a laughing kiss to his jaw.
"Lets go rest. I'm too tired for heavy lifting."
no subject
'Rest? Well, maybe. Afterwards for sure...'
