OOM: Bogotá on fight night

He'd never really thought that Fiona would take him up on his casual offer to come to watch him fight. Not that it seemed like she was full of shit or anything...but she is a woman. They say things easily, they're flippant and don't have the stomach for anything rough.

His opinion of women at the moment is, justifiably he thinks, low. Maria can shoulder a lot of the blame for that.

He always fights on a Friday and this week, he's definitely in the mood to cause some pain. He'd almost forgotten about Fi but when he opens the bathroom door and looks out onto the bar, he figures why not? He can even see her from where he's standing and she doesn't look like she's doing anything important.

'Busy tonight?'

He's never been much good at small talk.

'Us? You and your brother?'

See, Fi? He was paying attention when you mentioned Seamus.

'I bet it made it better. Revenge.'

How could it not?

"Seamus, aye. And my three other brothers and my da."

She's just starting to feel the buzz, so another shot seems in order.

"It didn't bring her back, but yeah -- it felt damn good."

His eyes flicker over her glass and he vaguely wonders if she can hold her liquor. And somehow he's not surprised to find that she has four brothers. it fits.

'I'm sure Raul will feel the same way when it's done.'

Ramon has never felt personal about revenge. Not yet.

'Though I'm sure he already knows that.'

Not as good as having your loved one back, she thinks, swirling the pale gold liquid in the glass.

"It doesn't help in the long run. You still see their face, still think you hear their voice just in the other room."

Something makes her think she should call Michael when she gets back. She hasn't seen him in far too long.

He shrugs, tired and in unknown territory.

'I'll take your word for it. Like I said, the day after, everything carries on as normal. Nothing will bring them back.'

He's reminded himself that it isn't done, talking personally like this. There's only so far you can let the defences down.

One shoulder lifts in a half shrug. She tucks into her food, not wanting to argue the point. (Normal is a lie.) She looks across at his plate, and then up into his face.

"You're not drinking enough."

A tired little smirk curls up the corner of her mouth.

'Want me placid later on?'

He smirks and knocks back a shot, then another.

'Or is this part of your plan to seduce me?'

She chuckles under her breath, pushing her plate aside and leaning forward on her elbows, toying with her napkin.

"'Seduction' implies that the outcome is yet to be determined. Are you saying you're still not sure you want to sleep with me, hmm?"

'Oh, I think you know the answer to that.'

Hell yes, he wants to sleep with her. All damn night, over and over.

This may be obvious in the way he's raking his eyes over her right now.

'But despite your promise, I don't think you're the kind of woman I can pin my hopes on.'

Her eyes slit for just the barest moment at his turn of phrase.

"Maybe," she drawls. "Maybe I'm just trying to get you so drunk I don't have to put out."

The way she looks back at him, he can guess she's teasing about that.

'And I think we both know that's not true.'

He smirks again and takes another drink. He'd have to go through a whole bottle or more to be in a bad enough state to not let him get it up. He picks it up now and offers it over to her.

'More?'

She pushes her glass across to him. Her tolerance is similarly high, but she's smaller. But she wouldn't have lasted as long as she has with him if she couldn't hold her own.

"Just to let you know, I'm not responsible for my actions passed the seventh shot."

'You think that's going to get me encouraging you to stop?'

Hell no. Quite the opposite. His grin is akin to a shark as he pours again.

She smiles at him as he pours, taking the shot between her fingertips and drinking it nice and slow this time.

They're alone in this private room, and she can hear the music coming from outside. She stands, pushing her chair back and throwing down her napkin. She holds out her hand to him, hips already swaying softly.

"Dance with me."

He regards her once more, from behind half-lidded eyes. But sure, why not? So he has another drink and stands up, takes her hand and pulls her gently to his body.

'You like to move, huh?'

He can get next to that.

"I do," she whispers, her eyes falling to his chest. Her hands caress up his biceps, coming to rest on his shoulders, fingertips toying in the short hair at the nape of his neck.

He's lean and strong, and he knows how to move. She makes a step and he anticipates, rocks with her, and her smile gets deeper. "You're good."

'I know,' he murmurs, half his mouth turned up in a smile and stepping again, pressed close to her.

'So are you. But I bet you're better moving in other ways.'

Her eyes fall closed and she sways with him. Her skin still sings with that wild energy, the adrenaline rush of earlier events transmuting into something different, something still simmering with heat and promise, the potential for violence never far away.

"It's all the same moves, all the same dance," she murmurs, her hips following his lead, rocking into him. Pushing him back, yielding to his advance, all at a tempo marked in heartbeats and soft breaths.

'Maybe.'

He doesn't think so. Dancing is just dancing and - so far in his life, at least - sex is just sex. He knows which of the two he prefers and predictably, it'll be obvious when she pushes against him.

She'll show him something new then, guiding his hands to her hips. She's feeling languid, more than a little tipsy as she moves against him, feeling the music, moving like fire and oil.

Her chest brushes against his and then pulls away, trusting him to hold her weight as she arches her back, her head falling back. There's a low moan in the back of her throat as the move presses her hips tight against his.

His breath hisses quietly out over his teeth as he presses his hardness against her, seperated from what he wants only by a few layers of flimsy cloth. One hand slides around her waist, supporting her; the other runs from her throat, down her body, between her breasts and coming to rest on her stomach for a moment before rising back up and finding a handful of what he needs.

His hips are undulating against her now and he's biting at his lower lip, blood rising with every passing second.

'Are we done with dinner yet?'

She rises with him, and his question is cut off with a kiss, her body surging in his grip. She takes that lower lip between her teeth and suckles it, before deepening the kiss.

Her knee rises along his thigh, her heel hooking behind his knee. Her hands thread in his hair and her blunt nails graze his scalp.

There's a groan and his hands find the back of her thighs, sliding up under that makeshift dress and kneading her ass in his hands, tight and hungry. Just as in thirty years time, it doesn't take him long to realise just how light she is - with her leg hooked around him like that, it takes no effort at all to lift her an inch or two and walk back until her backside rests against the edge of the table.

She laughs, gasps against his mouth. She winds around him, breathing hard, a shiver going through her as he puts her where he wants her.

"Slow down," she purrs, her teeth grazing the side of his throat. "We have all night. I want you in your bed, too. I want you so much." Her voice trails off to a breathless whisper as he moves.

'Then lets go,' he growls, his voice deep and tight. But he's smirking darkly as he moves in to kiss her and after, when he says,

'I want you as well and I think you've made me wait long enough.'
