OOM: Out

X was less than gracious when she released him and that's still annoying him as he heads up the stairs. But by the time he's reached Fi's room, he's let it go (or at least put it away for a while). There are more important things to think of, like making up for three weeks of incarceration or incapacity. And washing that damn place off him.

He bangs on the door hard. She wasn't downstairs (he checked) so she must be up here.

It doesn't occur to him that she might think that - and maybe he is? But it's not in his head right now, not when she's kissing him and all naked except for diamonds.

Shifting requires her to break that kiss for a moment, but only a moment. Languid as flame, she moves to sit astride his lap, hands skimming over his chest, moving to brush his hair back from his face so she can see his eyes.

She looks down into his face, her lower lip caught between her teeth as she settles against him.

She bends to catch his mouth again, moaning softly as his hands roam over her body.

He likes being able to just touch her like this, run all over her chest and sides and legs as she kisses him gently. Her skin is always soft under his hands and he likes being able to just take time to enjoy her.

'Guess you like your gift then?' he laughs softly against her lips.

She nods, grinning against his mouth. She pulls back to look at him, eyes bright, looking somehow as if she's lit from within.

"It's amazing. You're amazing. Have I told you that before?"

Her hands smooth over his torso and arms, similarly exploring him. Just savouring having him here to touch, warm and solid beneath her.

He chuckles and appears to think about it.

'I think you might have mentioned it once or twice.'

As it happens, he totally agrees with her.

'Or words to that effect, at least.'

"Well, you are," she purrs, grinning down at him. Beyond amazing. After giving her half a million dollars worth of jewels for her birthday, he is entirely entitled to be smug.

Her eyes go wide for just a moment. "I am going to have to do some research if I'm going to get you something anywhere near this spectacular."

Going to have to steal something, is what she's really thinking.

'Research me to see what I like?'

He's teasing, knowing that's not really what she meant. But he never expects people to be able to get him extravagant gifts - after all, he has a dozen houses, a private jet, wealth almost beyond measure...who could really match his presents?

'You already gave me something great - a clean record on your world. That will be more useful than you have any idea about.'

She purses her lips and shakes her finger at him, mock-stern. "Well, just don't make me regret it, will you? I've done a fairly good job of staying below the radar here in Miami, and I'd kind of like to keep it that way."

And this is Fiona. Matching something like this is a challenge and one she revels in. She's just going to have to call Barry and ask him, what do you get a druglord who has everything? (The narration can hear Barry cringing from here.)

He laughs again and shakes his head, catching her finger and shaking it a little.

'Like I said, it's useful. I won't mess it up.'

His face does turn a little thoughtful though.

'I imagine Michael might try and mess it up for me though.'

Her eyes narrow and she leans in for another kiss, biting at his lip.

"You think I told him about your new identity? What kind of amateur do you take me for?"

'Of course not.'

He'd wondered, even at this stage of things.

'But you don't think he'll find out? You know he will. He follows you everywhere.'

"Ramon, he has other things to worry about than me. Trust me." She sits back on his hips again, resting her palms on his chest and looking down into his face.

"And besides, I arranged your paperwork. It's not like I put it together myself. I made a few phone calls, transferred some money, and picked up an envelope. All very discrete. No way Mister Good Two Shoes is going to find out about it, unless you tell him yourself."

That means no gloating.

He probably will. He's dying to see the look on his face. He'll probably find his favourite cafe and sit there with a tall drink, silently gloating at him from behind some expensive shades.

'No, I don't mean followed you with the paperwork. I mean, when we go to Miami, he'll see me around with you. He'll see if I use a credit card or have a car that isn't a rental. I'm going to get a house, he'll figure it's not rented.'

He couldn't give a damn. But Michael reminds him of Jack which means no stone will be left unturned if the man decides to show an interest.

"That's while we'll be discrete too. Because he can make your life a living hell if he decides to. And I'd rather not -- have to go through that with the two of you."

There is a hint of concern in her expression, even as she smiles. If he didn't know her so well, he might never have noticed.

'Go through what?'

He reaches up and brushes his thumb across her cheekbone.

'He can't touch me. He can't get any authorities on to me because I have no record there. What's he going to tell people, that I have no backstory because I come from a different world? Please.'

He treats spies and feds and cops with the same easy arrogance. After all, he was only ever caught once. In thirty years of operating, that's not so bad.

ANd he neglects to mention the part where if MIchael is too much of a pain in the ass? He'll kill him.

She pushes her cheek into that touch, her eyes falling shut. She hadn't thought this through very well, and looking ahead now, she sees a terrifying future where she won't have either of them in her life.

"Just don't make my life any more difficult than it already is. Please?"

'Caro, I'm all about making your life easy, don't you worry about that.'

He grins and sits up suddenly, cupping her face with his hands and kissing her softly.

There it was again. That name. (It doesn't mean anything.)

She mirrors that grin, revelling in the feel of his hands soft on her cheeks. She closes her eyes and melts into that kiss, her hands coming to rest on his arms.

"Don't get carried away," she murmurs, her words barely a breath against his lips. "Might think you're going soft on me or something."

'That's me,' he says quietly, amused. 'Soft all over.'

There's a glance southwards.

'Almost all over.'

She grins, her contented hum melting into a sultry laugh. "Good."

She leans forward for another soft kiss, rocking into his body, her slight breasts brushing against his chest. Her hips are already shifting, dancing, teasing over him.

"Naked except for diamonds, hmm? Is that your fantasy?"

'Yeah.'

Well, for today it has been. And it's a beautiful one, he thinks, watching her shift over him.

'I guess it's up to you to make it come true for me.'

His hands are already kneading her ass lightly, anticipating.

She looks into his face, meeting that gaze, her hand brushing over his cheek. "Well, let's see what we can do about that, shall we?"

Her hips press against his hands as she arches her back, rising on her knees, making him look up at her.

'Mmm, why don't we?'

His eyes drink her in, running up and down that amazing body.

'You look magnificent. They suit you far better than Senora Peron.'

He's never rated her anyway. Fi though, he does rate.

"Sweet talker." But he can see the little smile his words bring, hovering at the corner of her mouth. She growls a little, weaving her fingers in his hair and drawing his mouth down to her breast.

"Let's write our own history for these jewels. Right here, right now."

He lets her pull him in slowly, anticipating already, envisioning what they look like as he carefully sucks that tit into his mouth, fastening around the sensitive nipple and pulling on it gently, a small moan of appreciation already in the back of his throat. His hands run smoothly, carefully, up and down her back; she can probably surmise that he's all in agreement with her plan.
