OOM: Out

X was less than gracious when she released him and that's still annoying him as he heads up the stairs. But by the time he's reached Fi's room, he's let it go (or at least put it away for a while). There are more important things to think of, like making up for three weeks of incarceration or incapacity. And washing that damn place off him.

He bangs on the door hard. She wasn't downstairs (he checked) so she must be up here.

'It's nice.'

He leans in for a kiss, slow and soft.

She melts into that kiss, her hands slipping up to wind around his neck, her fingers weaving in his hair.

When he kisses her like this, the rest of the world falls away.

He presses against her just for the feel of it, no insistence in his touch. He likes this too, though he'd rarely admit it.

'I'm tired. Want to go to bed?'

He can feel her nod, her nose brushing his.

"A nap sounds wonderful."

She realises she's exhausted too. Probably the stress of having him gone catching up with her.

'C'mon then.'

He pulls back and takes her hand, leading her though to the bed.

'Thanks for dinner.'

She follows. "You're welcome," she says, a little puzzled but grateful nonetheless. "Let me rinse off real quick, and I'll join you."

She kisses him again as he lays down, and then dashes through the shower. (Clean is a turn on for him, she knows.)

'Sure.'

Doesn't matter how quick she is, he'll be dozing by the time she gets back. Only lightly though and he's got half an eye on watching her shower.

She expected him to be asleep, so dozing is fine. She dries off and pulls her hair back, tying it into a knot. She slips in beside him, nestling up close, resting her head on his shoulder, one knee draped over his thigh.

"God, I missed this."

'Sleeping?'

She could mean that. Random always had trouble sleeping when he was away.

"Holding you," she answers, and yes, she's never been good at eight hours in a row and he always wears her out.

"Missed you, holding me."

'Well, 'm back now.'

Fingertips trail up her spine, a sleepy motion.

'Got to sleep a bit.'

[justcallmefee]

She nods, leaning up to kiss the corner of his mouth.

And then she settles, sighing as the tension bleeds away.

She's sound asleep before the third breath.
