OOM: The latest with Mary Anne

Ramon is quiet when he walks into the house. He feels like he's done something wrong, even though he technically hasn't. Not wrong in that he toyed with Mary Anne a bit to get her to tell the truth for once - wrong because the conversation happened at all. Knowing how hurt Random was after he'd kissed her, it feels slightly off for him to talk to her about the situation. Almost as if he's been unfaithful, somehow, especially given that she showed him what might have been.

But he hasn't, and wouldn't - but he still feels the need to tell Random what happened. In a minute though. Right now, he's just leaning his back against the front door and pausing to try and get some of the tension out of him. He has a vague notion that something might just snap if the day carries on like this.

He laughs before he attempts movement because he understands virtually no part of what Random just said, apart from 'shower' and 'I love you'. But that's OK because they're the only two things that matter right now anyway.

'Yeah. I'm a mess.'

He straightens. He straightens slowly because ow, though he keeps it off his face. He doesn't want Random to think that he minds. He doesn't, and so he leans over to plant a gentle kiss on his lips.

'You'll have to do that again to me sometime. And I love you and I don't mind. Now, shower.'

He helps him upright, and wraps arms around him as they edge towards the shower.

"I think I need to buy you something pretty, and then you can fuck me in it. Maybe a fancy shirt. 'd like to have sex in a silk shirt."

Edging is about the right word. Limpimg would be another good one, but he's smiling and tired. And happy.

'Silk shirt, yeah. Wear it with black trousers and we'll only have time to get your pants down before we're doing it, you'd look so good.'

Random, Ramon thinks, looks good in everything. Or nothing. But some clothes just shine off him and he likes it when he looks smart. Makes him want to unwrap him slowly but he's never got the patience.

The shower is started and he just looks at the water for a moment, his arm around his shoulders.

'I should tell you want I want for Christmas sometime.'

"Tell me what you want for Christmas?'

Since they're here and together and warm, and now pulling under warm water.

"Mmm, 's good, baby."

Ramon slides arms around his waist and touches their foreheads together for a moment, just standing with him. Then smiles and kisses him softly.

'I'll tell you some other time.'

He picks up the shampoo and slowly starts to rub it into Random's hair.

He loves it when Ramon does this, all near and tender and sweet.

"D'you ever wonder where we'd be now, without the other?"

'Not really.'

He's not given to flights of fancy. Or maybe its just because it doesn't bear thinking about, no matter how many times he sometimes rues what he's lost in himself.

'Why, where do you think we'd be?'

A sud is smoothed down blonde hair to his neck until its caught and rubbed back in. He loves doing this too.

"Nothing good."

He yawns, and coughs on a little bit of water.

"I don't think so at all. God, I'm so tired I can't think."

'Well, those are the side effects of being a sex fiend,' he says, nonchalantly. He should know, he thinks.

Water is rinsed over Random's hair to get the shampoo out and he starts with the soap, running it smoothly over his body. He's silent for a moment, thinking. And then,

'I think you'd have found someone else. And I think I'd be dead.'

"I think I'd be so lonely I'd need to scream."

He wraps an arm around Ramon's shoulders to lean on him.

"Wouldn't have been strong enough to save my bug alone. Would be lost. Probably go home for a few years."

He pauses, wraps his arms around Random's back and holds him tight, skin to skin. Again, he's quiet for a while, just leaning his cheek against his head and letting the water hold them warmly, in stasis. It would be perfect, he thinks, to stand here forever.

'You'd be strong enough,' is eventually murmured, and his eyes are closed now. 'You would be, because you love him.'

You love him more than you do me. I know it, but I can live with it.

'And someone else would have fallen for you pretty quickly, so you wouldn't be lonely.'

"I wouldn't have, lover."

He nuzzles at his shoulder.

"I don't feel good when I'm without you. I want you for always. Lets go to bed."

'But you wouldn't have known me if we hadn't found each other,' he points out sleepily.

'I think it would have happened anyway. Place isn't that big and we would have run into each other. Can't see any way I wouldn't have wanted you then, even it was a different time.'

There's a reluctant sigh and he pulls back to start cleaning himself off.

'Go on. I'll be there in a minute.'

"Let me."

He wraps Ramon a little closer and tries to steal the soap.

"I can take care of you."

'You always do.'

He chuckles as he gives up the soap, wincing as hot water slides down between his legs.

'In every way possible.'

Random is so gentle, because he can't bear to see him wincing.

"Want to take care of you forever. Forever and ever. Want to hold you in the sunshine and dance with you at sunset and make love in the moonlight, and kiss through dawn."

'Then that's what we'll do.'

Said simply, and he catches his head to hold it lightly as he kisses him.

'Do all those things. And I'll be with you, so you'll never be lonely again. I'll be taking care of you too. Don't forget that.'

It's important that Random knows, and doesn't forget. That he loves him.

"I do love you so unbelievably much."

He moans, a little, into the kiss. Soapy hands sliding up Ramon's back, just feeling his skin.

'Me too.'

He likes that noise, that response.

'Always me as well. Love you.'

"Clean?"

Please be clean, he wants to go to bed.

Right now, actually.

'Just about.'

And two minutes later, he is.

'Come on. You've worn me out.'

And sleep sounds like the best idea in the world.

"Mmm," he agrees vaguely, wanting nothing more in the world than to collapse.

Sex, it has been noted, does that to him.

Ramon chuckles lightly, limps his way out of the shower and grabs two huge, fluffy towels. One is chucked casually over his shoulder and the other is wrapped carefully around Random as he dries him off.

'Look like you're going to fall over.'

Cute though.

"Feel like it."

Random can deal with being cute, if it gets them into bed faster. Truly, he could just go on his own, but that would imply leaving Ramon which is a big, big no right now.

"Please?"

And he surely wouldn't deprive Ramon of getting to dry him off like this? He likes doing it. But he's tired too and can see that Random is, so he doesn't linger. Just a few minutes and he tosses the towels onto the floor.
