OOM: Fatherhood

Ramon's got something on his mind. It's been on his mind for a while, if he's honest, but the events of the day have pushed it to the front of his mind somewhat and now he really wants to talk to Random about it.

But first - showering and changing after his impromptu dunking in the ocean. And Random's busy with Martin for a while so he just goes to lounge on the sofa, fiddling with his lighter and staring at nothing while his mind turns things over.

"The way you make me feel like I've lost all motor control and my brain is melting and five hundred other horrible cliches that I generally try to avoid saying because this isn't a soap opera or a dimestore novel."

Yes, now he's blushing. Just a bit.

"And... well, I've been thinking about it, is all. You do it to me often enough. I'm not seriously worried. I'm just not liking feeling like you do all the hard work in bed. I don't know. Like I should be more pro-active or something."

He rests his head back down, muttering into his chest.

"I think it might tie in to the thing about taking control. I don't do things to you often enough."

Ramon sighs and rubs a hand over his face.

'You're ridiculous, you know that?'

It's said very sweetly.

'Do you think you should do more things to me just because I do them to you? Like, you're afraid I'm suddenly going to demand equality or something?'

He's rarely about the equal in the bedroom. He's about sex in the bedroom, however it manifests itself. He doesn't keep score.

'Listen to me. You can do what you want to me - hell, I let you fuck me didn't I? Don't I? But if you never take control again, it wouldn't bother me that much. I like having you squirming underneath me and making you feel that good. Watching you like that drives me nuts faster than anything else. So don't worry about it.'

You can almost see the anxiety draining out of him.

Eventually, there is a tired mutter:

"I love you. Thanks."

Because it really needed to be said.

Ramon just laughs and leans down to kiss him gently.

'You're quite welcome. And I love you too. Now, are you going to sleep? You should.'

"I will."

He doesn't bother to look up.

"And when I wake up I'm still going to blow you. Whether I need to or not."

'Well, I'm definitely not going to stop you, if you want to. And now the anticipation's going to kill me.'

He grins and shifts to get comfortable, a hand winding its way into Random's hair again.

'Sleep then. You need to.'

"It'll make it better" yawn "for when it actually happens."

And with that, Random closes his eyes, and squirms just a little closer. Just because.

'Probably right.'

Ramon presses a last kiss to his head, smiling happily even after he's closed his eyes.
