He hasn't felt young in a long, long time. But that's the way he wanted it and he doesn't waste time on self-pity. Nights like tonight make him tired though; if his side had come out completely unscathed then he'd be hyper and celebrating. As it is, the cloud of tomorrow hangs over him and he still doesn't know Rico is doing.
'Don't worry,' he murmurs, without looking at her. 'There'll be a couple of cars around us watching for trouble.'
