He sucks his breath in suddenly, closing his eyes, a new image hitting him. Being held face down in the snow and strangled from behind and then pain...
'Sometimes it's inside with Teja. But I just got a flash of it being outside, and I got strangled.'
If that's premonition, it is, at least, a useful one.
'Mary Anne. And Saffron. And Demeter lecturing me about something.'
He shakes his head, trying to shake something more specific loose.
'It's just flashes, like when you remember something that happened when you were a kid but you can't recall the context or the reasons. Just bits and pieces.'
